Michael Martin

President

With over 45 years of experience in the fire protection community, my career of
service in this area has offered me opportunities as a design engineer, project
manager, estimator, design consultant and business owner.
The Fire Protection Industry has never been brighter and my opportunities for
continued technical growth and the challenges of advancing and managing the
expansion of our company provide a never ending list of stimulating professional
projects

Throughout his working career, Michael has helped develop a fire suppression
company that values integrity and honesty and believes that staying true to
commitments is what our clients appreciate the most. He has managed large
Government, Department of Defense, Multi-Family, Industrial, Institutional,
Warehouse facilities and Office buildings and has utilized his communication and
management skills with his clients, engineers and governmental agencies to
establish a viable win/win scenario. Mike holds an Associate of Science (AS)
Fire Science degree and is currently a Principal of Peak Engineering, a fire life
safety consultant.

Hal Burton

Vice President

Hal brings over 42 years of experience in the fire protection community as Owner
and Vice President. Hal’s career of service in this area has offered opportunities
as design engineer, project manager, engineering supervisor, fire plans
examiner, fire suppression consultant, BIM coordinator, hardware and software
design consultant, 3D modeling manager, fire hydraulics instructor and materials
manager.

Hal is focused on bringing innovative technologies, practices, and business
solutions to his team and clients and is currently an NFPA Certified Water-Based
Systems Professional, licensed Victaulic Vortex Integrator and a registered ICC
Fire Plans examiner. He is also currently a Principal of Peak Engineering, a fire
life safety consultant.

Mark Whittaker

Principal / Sales / Business Development (Southern California)

With over 39 years experience in developing innovative and cost-saving solutions to complex design and installation challenges in a wide range of applications, Mark considers it a privilege to serve clients in all markets, including military, industrial, commercial, NASA, health care, hospitality, distribution, data processing, and multi-family, in addition to large-scale infrastructure & individual building upgrades and military-to-private Base conversions.

Mark strives to bring this experience together to the benefit of our clients by “optimizing” system performance through a “thorough and methodical” approach to survey, design, and means-and-methods. This allows for successful solutions to demanding design challenges with limited water supplies. Mark is certified NICET Level IV in Layout & Level III Inspections, holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, and participates in various on-going additional training, such as Ansul Foam Schools, AFSA seminars, etc.

Richard K. Beddie

General Manager, Southern California

Corporate leadership, small business management and fire suppression business ownership with over 35 years of experience in the fire protection and construction industry. Richard has built a strong foundation for supporting customers and projects. Building strong business partnerships is key to developing successful growth strategies. His experience designing and installing fire suppression systems allows him to envision projects from start to finish and create efficient and effective plans for successful projects.

Facilitating industry leading engineering design and submittal processes for cost effective solutions, constructive relationships with clients, and efficient navigation of approval processes. Fire sprinkler experience with design and installation of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, standpipes, underground, water tanks and pump systems, and an understanding of clean agent, detection, and fire alarm systems ensures staying in front of the schedule and completing projects on time.
